Digital experiences and open data belong together, but not much has been explored within this space.
During this event SpilBar and Aarhus Data Drinks will join forces to explore this topic together in relation to the funding and experimentation opportunities in the project OrganiCity.
Join us to meet people, eat pizza and learn more about open data, smart city experimentation, and the opportunities it creates for digital experiences.

About Open Data Aarhus (Birgitte Kjærgaard)
The purpose of making data available at www.odaa.dk is to create a platform for building new and innovative services based on the available data. In the long term, this can mean growth and new business opportunities for Aarhus, while allowing the city to position itself as a digital frontrunner.
The project makes it easy for developers, entrepreneurs, businesses, institutions and citizens to access open data and turn the data into new services and applications which will make life better, more fun and easier for citizens, visitors, newcomers etc. to the Aarhus area. The ODAA platform www.odaa.dk was launched on 9 April 2013 as the first municipal open data platform in Denmark.

OrganiCity is an EU project that puts people at the centre of the development of future cities and has created a platform for smart city experimentation. The project brings together 3 leading smart cities (Aarhus, London, and Santander) and a total of 15 consortium members with great diversity in skills and experience. The OrganiCity platform is yours to experiment upon. Connecting our cities, and providing local data in each, OrganiCity will invite, fund and support your experiments through open calls. About Ideas Lab (Maria Garde)
Ideas Lab is Filmby Aarhus’ brand new incubation environment where we focus on building digital experiences such as games, VR, movies, animation, sound, robotics or the like.
We currently have a mix of startups from the digital visual industry and students from Aarhus University and VIA joining us as they build a product for their final exams.
We’re also proud to have some of Aarhus early tech startups under our roof.
We’re here to help the creative, digital environment in town grow stronger.
